My specialty is breaking apart complex concepts in multiple ways until it clicks for you! We’ll look at different areas of the Task List in a variety of ways to increase your generalization and fluency. I also love breaking apart questions and answers in the most simplistic ways. As a multiple time test taker (2 times), I know what it’s like to have to change your study intervention and we can do this together! Miranda Grieco, BCBA.

tutor and concept instructor

Miranda Grieco passed the BCBA exam for the second time in August, 2017. I am working towards my LBA and I am also a certified Special Education Teacher with 11 years experience in the classroom. As a multiple test taker, I understand what it takes to adjust study methods and approach study materials with a new pair of eyes. I enjoy working with people to learn how to apply knowledge and to dive a little deeper in their understanding of the material to meld the gap between informational knowledge and gaining a stronger application when approaching prepping for the exam.

My mother tongue is Spanish and despite having a solid training in Behavior Analysis, I have experienced firsthand the difficulties involved in studying and being evaluated in a language different from yours. My approach as a tutor is to put this experience at the service of the student. I can help you identify the strategies that work best for you to achieve the understanding of complex concepts, and their use in applied situations.
